The history of Torremolinos is undoubtedly related to the history of mills that operated in the area for several centuries. Some of them were used for grinding flour, while others were used for producing brown paper. One of the oldest mills, the history of which can be learned in the botanical garden on the outskirts of Torremolinos.

Jardín Botánico Molino de Inca, The Molino de Inca Botanical Garden was established in 2003, and its area is covered with nearly a thousand species of plants, including 150 different types of palms. The mill was powered by water, which flows swiftly under the ground. The Japanese garden is also interesting.

If you are in the park area, it is worth visiting. In my opinion, it is not a must-see attraction, but it is an enjoyable place for a walk, and children can learn about the old devices used for grinding grains. We visited the park in winter when the plants were not yet bursting with colors and lushness that attract tourists in spring and summer.

PS I will not comment on birds in cages because I believe it is time to end the torture of frightened animals placed in corners of parks for decoration.

Un Saludo:)!
